How Maple Builds Immigration Intelligence
Maple is an informational Canadian immigration intelligence site. We track official immigration signals, summarize what changed, and separate source facts from Maple interpretation so readers can understand the context behind Express Entry draws, CRS movement, and related immigration updates.
Official Source Posture
Maple uses official Government of Canada and IRCC material as the primary source layer for draw history, invitation counts, CRS cutoffs, and pool distribution context. When Maple links to source material, readers should treat those official pages as the authority for rules, forms, instructions, and final program decisions.
Analysis Boundary
Maple analysis is designed to explain patterns and practical context, not to replace official guidance. Any interpretation, forecast, or candidate-facing explanation is Maple’s analysis and should be read alongside current IRCC instructions.
OINP Source And Automation Rules
Maple schedules checks of designated Ontario program pages and regulations twice daily. A detected source change and a stable rule are separate records: an AI-generated change summary cannot update the Published-criteria check. Stable rules must pass source-specific parsing, applicability, authority, repeated-fetch, boundary, and cross-source conflict checks first.
Legislation establishes statutory requirements unless it delegates a detail; designated ministry pages establish delegated points and processes; checklists describe evidence; program updates describe operations and transitions. Conflicts remain visible and affected calculations are withheld. Third-party reporting is always presented separately and never establishes an OINP rule.
OINP Corrections And Timing
Core monitoring is scheduled at 00:00 and 12:00 UTC—approximately 7 or 8 a.m. and 7 or 8 p.m. Toronto time as daylight saving changes—and is not real-time. A change may take about 12 hours plus scheduling delay to appear. Public update records show source, effective, and detection times separately. Automated summaries are labelled, linked to their source material, and preserved when a later correction is issued rather than silently rewritten.
