Provincial Nominee Program Update — July 30, 2026

Thursday, July 30, 2026

Two PNP-specific Express Entry draws were held in July 2026: July 6 (708 CRS, 534 ITAs) and July 20 (744 CRS, 511 ITAs) — the July 6 draw marked the lowest PNP cut-off score of 2026 so far.

Ontario overhauled its provincial nominee program on June 25–26, 2026, replacing 8 existing streams with a single new 'Ontario Workforce Priority Stream'; the Expression of Interest (EOI) system for this new stream is expected to open later in summer 2026.

Ontario updated its OINP webpages on July 20, 2026 to reflect eligibility criteria for the new Ontario Workforce Priority Stream, encouraging candidates and employers to review requirements before the EOI system launches.

What You Should Do

  • If you hold a provincial nomination, check your current CRS score at canada.ca/express-entry and compare it to recent PNP draw cut-offs (708–805 in 2026) to assess your competitiveness for the next PNP draw.
  • If you are an Ontario PNP candidate or employer, visit ontario.ca/page/2026-ontario-immigrant-nominee-program-updates to review the eligibility criteria for the new Ontario Workforce Priority Stream before the EOI system opens later this summer.
  • Set a calendar reminder to check the OINP updates page (ontario.ca/page/2026-ontario-immigrant-nominee-program-updates) weekly for the announcement of the Ontario Workforce Priority Stream EOI launch date, which is expected before end of summer 2026.
  • If you are a French-language proficient candidate, note that the July 9, 2026 French-language draw had a cut-off of 420 CRS with 5,000 ITAs issued — verify your language test scores qualify you for this category at canada.ca/express-entry.
