What You Should Do

• -If you hold a provincial nomination and are in the Express Entry pool, check your CRS score now at canada.ca/express-entry — the October 13 PNP draw cut-off was 772. Ensure your profile is active and up to date so you are eligible for the next PNP draw.
• -If you were preparing an application under one of the eight closed Ontario PNP streams (e.g., Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker, Master's Graduate, Express Entry Human Capital Priorities, etc.), verify whether your invitation was issued before June 25, 2026 at ontario.ca/page/ontario-immigrant-nominee-program — applications under old streams are only accepted if an invitation was already issued.
• -If you are interested in Ontario nomination in 2026, submit an Expression of Interest through the new Ontario Workforce Priority stream EOI portal (open since August 4, 2026). Review eligibility criteria at ontario.ca before applying, as selection is by invitation only.
• -If you are targeting BC PNP, log in to the BC PNP Online User Portal at www.welcomebc.ca and review the current Invitations to Apply page to check the latest draw details and confirm your eligibility under the applicable stream.
• -If you receive a PNP-based ITA from Express Entry and your existing work permit may expire before a PR decision, apply for a Bridging Open Work Permit (BOWP) through your IRCC online account at canada.ca to maintain your work authorization.
